Video: Preparations well underway for a phased re-start of construction

Since lockdown, construction industry leaders have been working with government and a broad range of stakeholders on an industry-specific re-start plan which incorporates safe operating guidance for construction sites.
With the Scottish Government publishing its Scotland’s route map through and out of the crisis and its specific construction guidance, Scottish Futures Trust chief executive Peter Reekie visited a number of construction sites to see the huge amount of work that has been undertaken over the past few weeks to get construction sites ready for a safe and phased return to work.
Feedback from these visits has been part of the industry consultation process required to move to the next phase.
