Views sought on on Bourtreehill Village regeneration
Consultation is about to get underway on a major regeneration project aimed at transforming the heart of Bourtreehill in Irvine.
North Ayrshire Council is to host an event on Wednesday, June 28, to allow local people, local businesses and interested parties to view the draft regeneration plans.
The event is being held between 3pm and 6pm at Towerlands Community Centre, Towerlands Farm Road, Irvine.
It’s hoped that the event will allow residents to obtain information about the project and share their views. Any feedback received will be considered as part of the scheme design.
Councillor Tony Gurney, Cabinet Member for Green Environment and Economy, said: “Our investment in homes and communities extends beyond our ambitious housebuilding programme.
“We want our people to be proud of their communities and that’s why we’re making a major investment in the area.”
To book your place at the event on June 28, please email developmentandstrategy@north-ayrshire.gov.uk or telephone 01294 324031.
The plans will also be available online to view and comment upon from Thursday, 29 June, until Friday, 29 July.
