Winchburgh Developments expands team with two senior appointments
Winchburgh Developments Limited (WDL) has made two new senior appointments as the company moves into phase two of one of the UK’s largest placemaking projects.
Spanning 352 hectares, the Winchburgh development will bring 3,450 new homes, improved transport links, employment opportunities, state-of-the-art schools and stunning new outdoor spaces to the historic West Lothian town.
Vickie Doyle joins as finance manager and Pierre Puyrigaud joins as senior development manager at what is a crucial stage for the Winchburgh masterplan, with shareholder funding now secured through a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) between West Coast Capital and CALA Homes.
Vickie Doyle has joined WDL from Fulcrum Infrastructure Management, where she was finance manager for the M8 Improvements Project. Prior to that, she was the finance manager at Capita IT Enterprise Services and became a fully qualified member of the Chartered Institute for Management Accountants (CIMA) in 2010. Vickie will be responsible for all aspects of Winchburgh Developments Ltd’s finance and accounting functions, including audited annual accounts, monthly management accounts, cashflow management and maintaining the cost and income ledgers.
Pierre Puyigaud has extensive experience of the property, construction and renewable energy sector. Whilst working as a consultant in 2015 Pierre developed the financial model for Winchburgh which underpins the project’s business plan and contributed to the establishment and funding of the Winchburgh JVA in December 2018. As Senior Development Manager, his responsibilities will include financial modelling, project management and design & construction programming.
John Hamilton, CEO, Winchburgh Developments Limited, said: “The appointments of Vickie and Pierre to our senior team are being made at a key stage in the development programme, and we’re delighted to welcome them to the team. Together, they bring a wealth of experience and vital skills that will help us deliver new homes, infrastructure and job opportunities to Winchburgh.”
