Winners crowned at 2021 Scotland Master Builder Awards
A virtual awards ceremony was held last night by the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) to crown the winners of the 2021 Scotland Master Builder Awards.
Sponsored by TradePoint, the event saw 11 prizes handed to the successful entrants, judged by an independent panel that included SCN editor Kieran Findlay.
The awards and winners were as follows:
- Apprentice Award - Rodrigo McCafferty, H M Raitt & Sons Ltd
- Bathroom Project - M C K Construction
- Building Company of the Year Award - Haldane Construction Services Ltd
- Commercial or Public Sector Project - George Fair Joiners & Contractors
- The Andrew Haldane House Builder Award - H M Raitt & Sons Ltd
- Kitchen Project - Kevin Wilson Joiners and Building Contractors
- Large Renovation Project - Spey Building & Joinery Ltd
- Medium Renovation Project - Coldwells Building Company Ltd
- Small Renovation Project - Scotia Design & Build Ltd
- Sustainability Award - Spey Building & Joinery Ltd
- Tradesperson of the Year - Ross Taylor of Fine Detail All Trades Ltd

Gordon Nelson, Scotland director of the Federation of Master Builders, said: “We’d also like to congratulate all members who submitted nominations for the awards this year. The winners now go on to compete for a national title in their winning category at the 2021 national Master Builder Awards ceremony on September 24.
