Womble Bond Dickinson strengthens Scottish construction team

Law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has appointed Keith Bishop as a legal director in its Edinburgh construction team.
A highly experienced construction lawyer, Keith is dual qualified in Scotland and England and Wales, and has advised on both contentious and transactional construction matters throughout his career. His appointment will support clients across construction, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure and real estate, adding further senior expertise to WBD’s growing Scottish practice.
Keith has held senior roles in private practice and industry, including heading the construction team at Muckle and working internationally on major projects through Systech in South Africa. His experience spans complex project advisory work as well as construction disputes, bringing a broad perspective to clients delivering and managing major developments.
Based in Edinburgh, Keith’s arrival forms part of WBD’s continued growth in Scotland, where the firm has been building specialist teams to support local, national and international clients. WBD opened its Edinburgh office in 2017 and has since developed its Scottish practice across key sectors and services including real estate, financial institutions, energy, banking and construction.
