Work on Dundee city centre retail and social homes project to begin shortly

Plans to deliver 31 social hosing units to Dundee city centre are a step closer after West Ranga Property Group (WRPGL) purchased the heritable interest in 11-15 Murraygate from Arcadia for an undisclosed price.
Arranged over basement, ground and four upper floors, the building was constructed in 1890 and extends to 15,979 sq ft.
The property group has designed and obtained detailed planning permission to incorporate the building and the adjacent site (an existing WRPGL holding) to deliver 6,000 sq ft of new ground floor retail space (part-let to Tesco) with 31 social housing units arranged over the upper floors.
Construction work is set to commence during the first quarter of 2021.
