Work to begin at Taylor Wimpey’s Roslin development
Taylor Wimpey East Scotland has announced that pre-construction and the enabling works for a development of 304 new homes at its Sinclair Gardens development, on land off Main Street in Roslin, will start this week.
The development, which will deliver a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, as well as 25% affordable homes has been designed to provide a range of options for first-time buyers and growing families.
As part of the Section 75 planning agreement with The City of Edinburgh Council, Taylor Wimpey East Scotland said it will make a significant community contribution of over £3.6 million towards education, transport and community facilities.
Pauline Mills, land and planning director at Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, said: “We are so pleased to be starting the pre-construction work of our Sinclair Gardens development in Roslin.
“The development will not only provide residents from around the local area with a wide selection of homes, but it offers great commutable routes to Edinburgh and the wider Midlothian area. This latest development further strengthens our commitment to Midlothian, following the launch of our Pentland Green development in Bilston just a few months ago.
“As one of the largest housebuilders in the UK, we are committed to building more than homes and making sure that we add social, economic and environmental value to the wider communities that we operate in.”
