EVH Grade 7 Salary: £32,850 - £36,071
Hours: 35 per week
Location: Wishaw and Motherwell
Leave entitlement: 25 days plus 15 days Public Holiday
Garrion People’s Housing Co-operative are an ambitious, forward-thinking organisation, committed to providing quality, affordable homes to tenants in the Gowkthrapple area of Wishaw. We work jointly with Forgewood Housing Co-op in Motherwell, operating a unique staff sharing service that has been effective for over 20 years.
We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Officer who will be responsible for delivering an excellent repairs service for our customers in Wishaw and Motherwell. You will be pro-active and will also be able to deliver a customer-focused repairs service including, producing performance reports, carrying out pre and post inspections, monitoring contractor performance and ensuring that our repairs service demonstrates value for money. You will also work closely with 2 maintenance assistants who carry out minor in house repair work to our properties.
You will also be responsible for managing the condition of our homes and surrounding environment in accordance with our strategic aims and objectives, ensuring that our tenants and their families live in safe, efficient and well-maintained homes.
The ideal candidate will preferably have a professional qualification in a relevant field. To be successful in this position you must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role or have transferrable skills that match the Job Profile and Person Specification. Please note that this post is subject to a satisfactory Basic Disclosure Check from Disclosure Scotland.
