Bids and Proposals Coordinator

CCG Group is one of Scotland’s largest, privately owned construction and manufacturing companies, and we seek a candidate who will work collaboratively to support all of our Group divisions in pre-qualification, tendering and general business development activities for workstreams across the Central Belt.

The position demands an imaginative thinker with excellent written communication capabilities.
You will liaise with colleagues to define and agree on responsibilities for the production of bid deliverables.

Applying imaginative writing, you will create, re-write and polish bid content. You will be able to source data, research new topics and fill in the information gaps to help bring together first-class proposals.

Salary: Industry-leading remuneration package. Open to discussion on salary expectations to suit your level of experience
Hours: Full time, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm. This is a non-working from home position but flexible hours are available
Location: CCG (Scotland) Ld, 1 Cambnuslang Road, Cambuslang Investment Park, Glasgow G32 8NB
Status: Permanent

The Role

  • Review of client requirements to establish bid deliverables
  • Interfacing with internal & external sources to gather relevant bid inputs
  • Developing persuasive first-draft responses for team review
  • Editing and formatting input from content contributors across the organisation – with cross-checking against bid requirements
  • Debriefing with clients to learn lessons for improvement
  • Stakeholder engagement activities to help maintain strong relationships and source new workload

Skills

  • Good knowledge of the construction marketplace
  • Analytical skills to deconstruct client requirements
  • Creative writing ability
  • An approachable individual to represent CCG at site visits, briefings and project interviews
  • Document layout skills
  • A Full Driving Licence is essential
