A proposal to turn Glasgow’s Egyptian Halls into a Museum of Slavery has won a public vote.

A group of heritage bodies will gather in Glasgow this month to “kick-start productive discussions” on the future of Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson’s Egyptian Halls.

An international architectural competition has been launched which covets ideas for the adaptive reuse of the Egyptian Halls in Glasgow.
