Allanwater Homes has launched video fly-throughs of showhomes and housetypes at its various developments throughout Scotland. Starring in the videos is company accountant Jim Baxter, who explains how the videos came about, and how much he is enjoying his new found role of presenter.

Allanwater Homes will shortly deliver a new development of 95 homes in the Hillfoots village of Alva. A selection of three to five bedroom, semi-detached and detached, eco friendly homes will be included in the first phase of the development, which has been named Silver Glen.

A housing developer is set to take over the site of the former Bangour Village psychiatric hospital with plans to build 891 houses. The West Lothian site, which is the size of 100 football pitches and includes 15 listed buildings, has lain empty for 14 years.
