More than 300 primary school pupils from across Scotland have been given a glimpse of a career in construction, thanks to Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes’ latest Christmas competition. 

Homebuilders Springfield Properties and Barratt Homes have submitted updated planning applications for the Durieshill development which will see the creation of a brand new 3,000 home village on the outskirts of Stirling.

Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes have injected £406.9 million into the Scottish economy in the year ending 30 June 2024. The firms completed 1,613 new homes and supported 4,045 direct, indirect and induced jobs across its North, East and West Scotland divisions.
