David Jardine Surfacing and civil engineering specialist NMC Group has appointed David Jardine, a former director at Crummock Scotland which recently entered receivership.

Multi-disciplinary construction company Crummock has gone into receivership with the loss of 287 jobs. Employees at the firm, based near Bonnyrigg in Midlothian, were informed on Friday that cash flow problems had led to claims from creditors.
