The Prestwick office of multi-disciplinary engineering firm Clancy Consulting has designed the new North Stand at Somerset Park for Ayr United Football Club.

Plans to build affordable homes in Ayr have been revised after conditions were attached to the project by South Ayrshire Council.

Full planning permission has been granted for a new £12 million whisky and gin distillery and visitor centre on the Isle of Barra.

Plans have been submitted to redevelop Somerset Park as part of a seven figure investment by Ayr United. The project will see a mix of 700 seats and terracing under the cover of a cantilevered roof, along with an integrated hospitality suite which will cater for around 170 guests.&nbs
