An online community consultation has been launched today with the intention of developing a new mixed-use neighbourhood, as part of plans by Edinburgh BioQuarter to create a new Health Innovation District.

The strategic business case behind a major project to transform the BioQuarter into a vibrant new neighbourhood in the south east of Edinburgh has been unanimously backed by councillors.

Scotland’s life sciences hub Edinburgh BioQuarter has unveiled its vision for its planned £750 million investment which aims to create a new vibrant mixed-use neighbourhood, supporting a community of more than 20,000 people.
