Wheatley Group has joined Home Group in planning to develop new homes near the former Meat Market site in Glasgow's East End. Wheatley has lodged plans to build 254 units, made up of a mix of family housing and flats at the site which is bounded by Barrack Street, Gallowgate, Melbourne Street, Sydne

Councillors have approved plans for a residential development on the site of a Kinross building which was demolished without permission. The 200-year-old sandstone villa on Kinross High Street stood within the town’s conservation area.

A planning application has been lodged with Glasgow City Council for a housing development on the site of a former school in Drumchapel. Cruden Estates want to build 48 properties on land at Katewell Avenue, where Cleddans Primary School used to stand.

Plans have been submitted for a development of 550 new homes in Glasgow’s East End. Link Group’s proposal is for a mixture of homes for social rent, mid market rent, shared equity and sale at Dalmarnock Riverside.
