Proposals to create a new "vibrant community" of 700 homes at Lancefield Quay in Glasgow will be the subject of a public consultation next month.

Plans for a 12-storey hotel have been given the green light by Glasgow City Council.

McAleer & Rushe has secured planning permission to develop a 12-storey hotel in Glasgow city centre. The 300-bed 4 star hotel on Renfrew Street will be the first Maldron Hotel for hotel operator Dalata Hotel Group in Scotland.
