Midlothian Energy Limited

A new energy centre that will provide heat to thousands of homes across Midlothian opened for the first time yesterday.

Vattenfall has become a Registered Participant of Heat Trust having proactively registered the Midlothian Energy Ltd (MEL) heat network and another project in north London.

The joint venture delivering the district heating network in Midlothian is to work with Powering Futures and Edinburgh Science to deliver a skills programme that aims to connect with 1,000 young people in 2024.
