Budget supermarket Aldi will continue its expansion in Scotland with plans to invest more than £56 million over the next two years. The move will see the discount retailer open three new stores in Broughty Ferry, Straiton and Castle Douglas this year.

Kilmac has been awarded the groundworks package for the construction of the new Aldi in Broughty Ferry on behalf of Hall and Partners. The budget supermarket secured planning consent for the build after its planning appeal was upheld by the Scottish Government in 2020.
