Glasgow City Council has approved plans by The R&A to redevelop the existing public golf course at Lethamhill to create a brand new community golf facility.

Golf governing body The R&A has submitted a planning application to Glasgow City Council for the construction of a new community golf facility that it is hoped will open in the summer of 2022. 

The R&A is planning to take over a golf course currently owned by Glasgow City Council and invest £10 million to deliver a golfing experience and visitor attraction.
