A planning application has been submitted to expand Mornity Industrial Estate in Alyth.

A new study is being carried out into more environmentally friendly methods for laying housing foundations on peatland that could pave the way for increased economic development in parts of the Highlands and Islands, while mitigating disruption to the natural ecosystem and captured carbon dioxide.
