Places for People has been cleared to start work later this year on the first phase of a vibrant new extension to the village of Longniddry after East Lothian Council approved detailed designs for 98 new homes.

Housebuilder Cruden Homes, part of the Cruden Group, has secured planning permission to build 81 new homes as part of the first phase of the expansion masterplan at Longniddry, East Lothian.

East Lothian Council has granted Planning Permission in Principle (PPiP) for a major housing proposal that will see 450 new homes built in Longniddry. Ryden submitted the planning application on behalf of developer Socially Conscious Capital and landowner Wemyss & March Estate.
