Plans to convert a former Bridgeton job centre into flats have been rejected by Glasgow City Council.

The third and final stage of a pioneering residential development close to Glasgow’s West End has restarted following the construction industry shutdown, bringing to fruition the preservation of a historic and much-admired old school building.

Spectrum Properties (Scotland) Ltd has submitted plans to convert an empty job centre building in Bridgeton into 49 flats.
