Hillington Park New research which assesses the potential for a more flexible and widely applicable land use zoning mechanism than currently provided by Simplified Planning Zones (SPZs) has been published by the Scottish Government.

Councillors have agreed to progress with plans to create a Simplified Planning Zone (SPZ) at a Renfrewshire business park. The move would effectively grant planning permission in advance for certain types of development specified within Westway Park.
