A new community of 3,000 homes will be built in the west of Aberdeen after councillors approved the £700 million plans.

Plans for a 300-home development in Aberdeenshire have been deferred until a suitable location for a primary school is identified. The Stewart Milne Homes scheme was recommended for approval by Aberdeenshire Council planning officers.
