Ayrshire-based construction firms Connect Modular and The Wee House Company have raised an impressive sum of money for the Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) Trust, after hosting a charity ‘Games Day’ for their staff and sub-contractors.

The Wee House Group observed a huge milestone in its calendar this week by celebrating 10 years in business and marked the occasion with a family-friendly birthday bash at its head office in Cumnock with staff, sub-contractors and their extended families.

Connect Modular, part of The Wee House Group, has been appointed to the LHC Procurement Group’s (LHC) new Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) of new homes (NH3) Framework.

The first two amenity bungalows built by Connect Modular have been delivered to the six-home development in Stevenston, North Ayrshire. The important milestone was reached this week as the modules arrived on site and were craned into place, making up the first two homes in the development.

The Wee House Group has appointed Richard Reid and Emma Robertson as (acting) chief executive officer and chief financial officer, respectively. Jennifer Higgins, current CEO of the group, will take a step back at the end of this month when her maternity leave begins.
