Phillippa Prongué has been named the new executive managing director of Wates' growing Residential business. Ms Prongué will take up the position in the new year, taking over from Helen Bunch who is retiring after an esteemed 19-year career at Wates.

Wates Group has today reported a profit of £33.7 million on its highest ever turnover of £1.89 billion, up 17% on last year.
