Works to transform a former nightclub into a new care home are set to get underway in March.

West Lothian Council has approved the sale of land in Livingston to Workflo Solutions (Scotland) Limited for £100,000. The site at Allen Road is approximately 1,860 square metres and is one of six neighbouring plots which have been marketed for sale.

West Lothian Council is to apply for funding that, if successful, would result in a new primary school and nursery being built in Craigshill, Livingston. The new facility would replace both the existing Letham and Riverside Primary schools which are both in poor condition.
